Kim, SFT Founder, has spent the last 30 years in the travel industry, helping others see the world and connect with other people and places. Having traveled to 6 continents and over 60 countries, she’s met and worked with people all over the world, reinforcing her belief that travel is the best education and is truly life changing.
Originally from California, an unconventional childhood of living and traveling aboard a 36-foot sailboat laid the foundation for a lifelong love of travel. “This experience made it clear to me that travel and being amongst other cultures makes you more understanding, flexible, and resourceful. It also reinforced the value of enjoying ‘experiences’ over ‘material things’. Traveling with my husband and two children has strengthened our family, brought us closer together, and created lifelong memories. It's also given my kids a love of travel and global sensitivity that they would not have gotten any other way.”
