What types of travel/trips do you plan? Can you help with just flights or activities?

We plan unforgettable vacations—from start to finish—and we’re dedicated to providing high-quality, unforgettable trips for our clients. This means that we take care of it all, from hotels to activities, transfers, and everything in between. Because of this, we are unable to assist with requests that need assistance with only a portion of their trip.

How does this work? What is the process of trip planning like?

One of the ultimate FAQ’s! When you reach out to SFT, we’ll get an idea about where and when you’re interested in traveling and then send you a questionnaire. Once you’ve completed this, we’ll contact you within 24 hours or so to discuss. If we move forward, you’ll receive a Proposal from us with a tentative itinerary complete with activities, hotel & flight choices as well as a high-level cost estimate. Once the proposal is approved, we get to work booking accommodations, activities, transfers, flights and more! You’ll hear from us throughout the process and we can always be reached by phone or email. When it’s almost time to depart, you’ll receive a final trip itinerary that can be viewed on an app during your entire vacation (and we’ll walk you though it before you leave). Then you’re off on your amazing adventure!

Why should I use a travel agent instead of planning a vacation myself?

What should I pack for my trip to [destination]?

Great question! About a month and a half before you depart, you’ll get an email from us with all kinds of information regarding your upcoming trip. It’ll have links for what to pack, how much things cost (on average), ways to learn the language, the best souvenirs, and more! We also suggest bringing just a carry-on if possible!

Can you recommend local experiences/activities?

Absolutely. We work very closely with trusted partners all over the globe in order to bring you the very best tours and activities during your trip. You’ll get some recommendations during the “Proposal” stage and once you move forward with an SFT vacation, our in-house Travel Concierge will work with you to ensure you have exactly what you’re looking for during your trip.

Can you assist with travel insurance options and recommendations?

We HIGHLY recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to protect your investment. During the early stages of planning we’ll offer you a quote at your request. In the meantime, you can check out our SFT Travel Guard® link.

Can you help if something goes wrong during my trip?
Yes! Unlike a booking engine, we provide support before, during, and after your travels. Our Operations Manager, Natalia, is located in Europe, so she is very helpful in emergency situations for clients in her time zone!

Can you help with last-minute travel?
Yes, when possible — though planning in advance often results in better options and pricing.
